P. S. I Love You Valentine Lollipop

I'm really behind today and didn't get to post yesterday so today it will be short and sweet.  Speaking of sweet take a look at this darling way to fancy up a lollipop for Valentine's Day.  I saw this on Angie Kennedy Juda's site. They can be made solid or with the round window punched out.  The P. S. I Love You stamp set has a perfect circle for this.

I took Real Red card stock and cut it 2 1/4" by 6 1/2".  Score it at 2 1/2" from each side or if you are lucky enough to have the Simply Scored Scoring Tool score it at 2 1/2" and then at 4".

The front white piece is 2" by 2 1/4".  Punch a 1" circle after stamping the circle hearts in the middle.  The corners were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch.  You can then adhere it to the real red front, align your punch and punch through the red.  I am going to admit that I adhered the layer first and punched through both layers but wouldn't probably do that with my punch if I were making more then one.

The top can be closed with glue dots or sticky strip.  The little extra touch - the small heart and the ribbon tied around the stick.

In my last post I shared swaps from our PAWS meeting in January but was missing one because I realized I hadn't taken a picture of it.  This is a fabulous easel card made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and Blossom Punch from the Occasions Mini.  I asked Fran how she textured the leaves. She says she folded each leaf in half and then ran it through the crimper on the diagonal.  Great idea - I can't wait to try it.

This last share is a treat I received from my roommate Becky Lambie at Leadership.  It was made by her young daughter.  It's so adorable that I haven't even opened it to see what's inside even though it's probably chocolate.

I wish I had grown up with Stampin' UP!  Do you believe 70% of people surveyed have never heard of Stampin' UP!  Go help me spread the word! :)
