$99 Starter Kit Promotion Ending Today

Remember...today is the last day to take advantage of the $99 Starter Kit.  Actually the last hours.  You can still order the kit online until 11:50 PM (MT).  Remember... it is completely customizable and a great deal even for the hobby demonstrator.  Sign up during this promotion and get the Christmas gift box (value $40)  FREE!

Today I would like to show you my thank you card for customers who placed an order with me in July.  I like to leave the inside blank so the card can be used again.  The flowers are from the new Easy Events stamp set.  There's a stamp for almost any occasion in this set.  I did some watercoloring with ink and a blender pen and stamped off the butterflies with the same color as the paper.  It's a quick and easy card but cute don't you think?  It's also fun to stamp your envelope to match and even the inside of the card.

Stamp Sets: Easy Events, For All You Do
Card Stock: So Saffron, Rose Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Rose Red, Old Olive
Accessories: Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Blender Pen

In sharing my swaps I forgot to tell you what my sweet cat Annie thought about me being away at convention.  I was told that she cried a lot and constantly looked for me.  The first thing I did when I got home was unpack my small suitcase with my swaps.  I think she thought I might be leaving again and decided it would NOT be without her!

I think next year I might need to take her with me. :)

Cool Springs Baptist Church Crop

Hi Stampers!
So how did you spend your Friday?  I had a great day stamping and sharing convention goodies and swaps with a friend and neighbor.  Thank you Sandy for a fun afternoon.  Let's do it again soon!

Last Saturday I attended the second annual crop at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Jasper Ga as a vendor.  It was a long day but lots of fun.  The ladies worked on their scrapbooks all day and I was blown away by the creativity.  There was a journaling class taught by Dixie Stewart and a photography class taught by her husband Alvin.  I attended both and enjoyed them thoroughly.
During the event the ladies rotated to each vendor's table to do a Make and Take.  I had so much fun with mine.  We did a mini fold out album and the ladies loved it.  We laughed and had a good time as many of them tried the Stampin' Up! Color Spritzer for the first time.

This is the Mini Album they made.  It was inspired by an album I saw online.  I changed it's size so I could make it from 8 1/2 X 11 card stock.  The Fun Flower die is one of my favorites.  Yes it is the same flower on one of my convention swaps.

Remove the belly band.  The ladies laughed at that technical term.  :)

Both sides fold out.  I left a place for them to journal since I think journaling is so important.  This is my good friend MarySue and I walking the Avon 3-Day Walk in 2000.  The 60 miles were grueling but we came away with so many memories both funny and inspirational.

Close up of the center.  You can see where we used the Spritzer tool.

This is a second album I made as an example.  This one is a bit more vintage.

Pictures of my mother, brother and I.  Won't say how many years ago but isn't it fun to scrap those older pictures.

Close up...Love the Remember When Stamp form the Word Play stamp set.

Only one person could take home my door prize but each person went home with a goodie bag.  It included a Summer Mini Catalog, DSP, several yards of assorted ribbon, a post it note holder (idea from Angie Kennedy Juda's video), and as always...chocolate.  I had to laugh when one of the ladies asked if chocolate is a Stampin' Up! "thing"
I guess it is.  :)

The orders the ladies placed came in today.  I made a thank you card for each of them.  One they can use again when they need a thank you card.
I'll save that for tomorrow.

More Convention Swaps

Hi Stampers!

More convention swaps today!

Before I share I wanted to mention that I needed to change my class schedule for August due to a change in my family schedule.  Please click on the events tab on the top right sidebar and you will be directed to my events page.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Now...for the sharing.

The stamp set used for this card is "Sweets for the Sweet"  It has these cute little pinwheels that can also be popped up to give the card dimension.  It also includes candy that would be great for the holidays.

One of my favorite swaps.  In person this is a real WOW!
And...

Look...there's more.  Two snowmen for the price of one.  :)  So stinkin cute!

This beautiful card uses the "Love and Care" stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog.
It's a hostess stamp set.  Another great reason to schedule a workshop.  Don't be shy...contact me and we will figure out how you can earn this set.

A very cool looking technique is used in this card using the Big Shot with an embossing folder.
I love the cute cupcake punch.

What's better then one cupcake...three!  Cupcakes are so in now.

Another birthday card that makes you want to party.  Sucker sticks...how cute.

Another Hostess Stamp Set from the new catty that you can own with a qualifying workshop.
One of my favorites.  I love this flower.
Several two step flowers are included in this set.

Remember when I mentioned above about the candy that could be used for the holidays?

I love this card.  The snow cone just sparkles.  But wait...there's more!

You lift the straw and there's the sentiment.  How stinkin cute is that!

Hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my convention swaps.

Tomorrow I want to show you a cute mini album I made for a Make and Take

Have a wonderful day!

My convention swaps

Ready to be inspired?  I know I was.  The best and most fun about convention was the swaps.  Today I would like to share some of my favorites.

I love to make round cards for a change.

A sweet card using our Top Note die.

Do you know how the clouds where made?  Not sure you can see the Crystal Effects on the plane.

Doesn't this card make you want to party?

The domestic goddess ( my roommate) made this card.  :)  I love our new mini clothespins.

One of my favorite sets in the new catalog...but I'm a cute bird lover...not just any bird.
The stamp set is "Best of Everything".  Go take a look.  I'm sure you will love it too.

I love the quilted effect on this card especially with the Paisley Petals DSP.

One of my favorite hostess stamps.  Host a qualifying workshop and you can own this stamp set for only $8...what a deal!

This ballon is made from SU fabric and the batting to puff it out is a cotton ball.  See what I mean about new things to share.

The new Hello, Doily stamp...gotta have it!  Oh...and how about the Doily Triple Layer Punch?

The snowman from the stamp set "Jolliest Time of the Year" has a real snowy effect by using a used dryer sheet.

Look at the crystal effect on this Halloween card.  Were you thinking epsom salt?  Well you should.  :)

I hope you have enjoyed my sharing today.  Want to see them in person?  Look, touch, and take pictures...schedule a class, workshop, or one on one session with me.  Let's have fun!

Don't forget to check out the $99 Starter Kit Deal!  You have until July 31.  Click here for details.
Attention Hobby Stampers!  This is a great way to get started with Stampin' Up! or save on your wish list.  You will enjoy Stampin' Up! discounts and benefits and become a part of my team.

More Convention Shares

Hi Stampers!

I have been told how amazing convention is and have seen pictures but nothing I've been told or saw online comes close to how amazing it really was.

This year's theme was GROW.  The idea was to encourage demonstrators to GROW not just their businesses but in their lives.  I found that so exciting!  As I grow in love and kindness, as a wife, mother, and friend I believe my business will also grow.

This is a picture of me planting a flower and making the commitment to grow.

Main Stage - Shelli

Large monitors so you could see what was happening on stage.

Following the awards night there was a fun after party.  Again you can see the grow theme.  And by the way the desserts were a great reason to be there. :)  I was good though...mostly.

These next pictures are of some of the displays.  I can not even imagine how many man (woman) hours went into creating all of this for us to enjoy.  Again the word I think of is AMAZING!!

My Fun Roomie dressed for her swaps

A sunhat contest...I just loved this bee hive hat.  A great use for the packing material in our orders...how clever!

One of the SU employees demonstrating a new product that will be in the holiday mini.  A stamp to use on real cookies.  By the way we had lots of cookies to sample...yum.

Tomorrow...I want to share some of the display boards, projects and swaps with you.
