I wanted to share this cute card box we did at my Fancy Fold Class last week. It's really cute and fun to make!
One of the reasons I love convention is because of all the sharing. Fran Kennedy cut and showed me how to do a box card (decorated for Christmas) for one of my shoe box swaps. I had no time to come up with something with my mother in the hospital before convention so she did it for me. What a sweet friend!
Then I received a swap card from Penny Hanuszak which had this element on the belly band but in different colors. I took the two ideas, changed up the colors and I love what I came up with. So did the gals in the class. I also changed the dimensions so that it would fit in a standard A2 envelope.

Here's a picture of the inside of the box. I used the Fabulous Florets Stamp set on the inside. Inked with Baja Breeze and used the rock and roll technique with Island Indigo. I could see placing some handmade tags inside to give as a gift. Or how about some tea bags for a tea lover or as a get well card box. Or better yet...tell your husband for your next gift occasion you'd like him to buy a gift certificate from me for Stampin' Up goodies and I'll make him a card box to put it in. :)
