Bordering on Romance Done Softly

It's been a week since I've been able to post and I've sure missed being with you all.  Hope you missed me just a little bit. :)  I could go into a long explanation but I'm afraid it will sound like a lot of excuses so I'm not going to go there.  Just know that I'm glad to be back!

Today I would like to share a soft and pretty thank you card using the stamp set Bordering on Romance.  It's from the Occasions Mini Catalog and I can't believe it's the first time I'm getting to use it.  I love the sweet flowers in this set but what's really fun is the borders that coordinate with the edgelits dies that I didn't actually use in today's card.  I'm saving those for another day. :)

The Stitched-Poly Ribbon is a fun ribbon to work with.  I love the white edges and the feel.  It's available in the 2010 - 2012 In Colors which will only be available until the end of June.  If you haven't ordered this ribbon in the past consider it in your next order.  You won't be disappointed.

The flowers are fussy cut and popped up with dimensionals which makes them feel like they are floating on the embossed layer.  I colored them with ink pads and a blender pen.  And yes...that's the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder again.

For those of you that are local - this is one of the cards that you can choose to make this Thursday at the I Love Cards Buffet.  This class is for beginners or advanced card makers.  You choose what cards and how many of each you would like to make.  What a great way to add to your stash of cards to send to family and friends or to copy over and over again. The fee is $12 for 5 cards or Free with an order of at least $25.  Additional cards are $1.50 each and can be made if time permits. Click Here to register for class.  Even though the time is listed as 6:30pm feel free to arrive 1/2 hour early.

    1. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Thanks for missing me. :) Our Passion play has taken hours of prep. It is finished and well worth the effort.

Thank you for your sweet comments and being so faithful to stop and comment. I need to follow your example and be better about doing the same.
