What Color Rhinestones Are Your Favorite?

I was just so excited when I found out that we could color the clear Rhinestones and they would still sparkle!  Then when I looked at this stamp in the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set I thought...a chance to color more rhinestones. :)  It's cased from a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers done by Ruby-heartedmom.  I like how it turned out...bling but not too much.

When you go to color your rhinestones you need to use permanent markers. If you don't the color will just rub off as soon as you touch them.  Take any permanent marker and just lightly color the tops of the rhinestones.  You can do this before you remove the rhinestone from the sheet or even after you apply it to your card if you are very careful.

The colors in this card are Crumb Cake and Marina Mist.  I used VersaMark to ink the stamp for the subtle background on the Marina Mist card stock. The Top Note die is cut from Crumb Cake card stock using the Big Shot and sponged with the same ink color.  Stamp your image and sentiment in Soft Suede.  (All from one stamp set if I may add.)  Then embellish with our Scallop Dots Ribbon in Marina Mist and the gorgeous colored Rhinestones.
This card was a lot of fun to make...and it was for one of the special people in my life.

Who are the special people in your life?
Can you imagine the smile on their faces when they receive a handmade card from you?

If you're local there are lots of opportunities to come stamp with me.  Click Here to view my events for November and December.

Today's card was made using the Big Shot and I don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to get one for FREE!  There are only 4 Days Left!  Click Here for all the details.  Questions...contact me for answers.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for allowing me to share the hobby I love.
