Snow Much Fun!

What a gorgeous fall day in the North Georgia mountains!  Hope wherever you are it's just as beautiful.

The cooler weather makes me think Christmas will be just around the corner.  And in fact, when you are hand making your cards this is a perfect time to get started.

This is a card I have been doing in my recent workshops using the Snow Much Fun stamp set.   When I first came to live in the south I didn't like to do snowmen for Christmas since I never saw any snow but that hasn't been the case since moving to north Georgia.  Last year my guests actually got snowed in at our house.  I had a bunch of 20 some year olds eating me out of house and home. :) And loved every minute of it!

It's not a difficult card to put together and really very cute.  I like the soft look of the coloring with a blender pen.  It's difficult to see in this picture but there's a rhinestone in the snowball.  You know I was justing thinking...I need to pull out my blue permanent marker and see what that looks like. (Tip from yesterday's post.)

Now! Don't go away.  Here's more Stampin' Up! news.

They're here - Stampin' Up! Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps are a brand-new product that will appeal to crafters and non-crafters alike - not to mention kids!

The easy-to-use cookie stamp has a solid wood handle with three interchangeable stamp images: a heart, a jack-o-lantern, and a snowflake.

Just make your favorite shortbread cookie dough (or one of the two included recipes) and stamp away!  Create beautiful, hand-stamped cookies in a flash.  The stamp images are completely food-safe and child-friendly.  No ink required!
