Baby Buggy Card

My son's girlfriend is visiting before they both go back to Notre Dame next week.  It's been a great visit! She needed a card to go along with a baby gift she's giving to a friend so I thought it would be fun to do a baby buggy card.  The ones I've seen online use the scallop circle die.  Since I don't own that die...yet, I thought I would use a 5 inch circle made with the Stampin' Up' Circle Scissor Plus.  It makes perfect circles and it's so easy to use.

I decorated the buggy with the Scallop Trim Border.

Close up of the tag, bow, and Basic Pearls.

The "love" sentiment is from the So Cute stamp set.  It is one of the sets that is retiring.  It has been one of my favorites.  I use it for baby, Easter, birthday...cute and versatile.
June 30 is the last day to purchase items from the retiring lists.  Click on the tab at the top to view these lists.

The congratulations I used on the inside of the card is from the Swirls and Curls Verses in the Summer Mini.  It's one of our hostess sets.  Book a workshop and you can earn this stamp free.  Let me tell you how.

I had a lot of fun with this card...hope you enjoyed it.

  1. Diane, I love all of your designs, but the baby buggy card is my favorite. It is so sweet. I also enjoyed your story of the kind customer who returned your Ipad. A handmade TY card will make her day.

I found you at The Outlawz Follow Me forum and I am now following you. I hope you will visit me at my blog, Tickell Expressions.

    Blessings,

  2. Teresa,

Thank you for the nice comments. I have to say this baby buggy was really a lot of fun to make.
The young girl who found my Ipad was excited to receive the card and the $$ reward. She says she is saving for an Ipad and is going to put it towards her purchase.
I am making 100s of swap cards for the SU convention in 12 days and am feeling some panic. You are now on my list of blogs to visit real soon.
